If I turn on iCloud Drive, my hard drive will reach its limit quickly. Without turning on iCloud Drive, I can't sync the data. For instance, I use Things and Goodtask, which stores data on iCloud. I am seeking a way where I can use iCloud Drive on my work computer to sync app data to it. In Dropbox, for example, I can at least selectively choose which folders I'd like to store locally on my hard drive. While I'm able to make this happen on my iPad, iPhone and home MacBook Pro, I have iCloud Drive disabled on my work computer because the iCloud Drive is holding at least twice the space of the SSD, around 500GB. I also have an iPhone and iPad, and I have apps that uses iCloud to sync across my devices. Right now, I'm down to around 60GB of space left on it.
